Austria, Kurz investigated for aiding and abetting corruption

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz is under investigation for aiding and abetting corruption and extortion. This was reported by the Austrian newspaper Die Presse, explaining that his close collaborators are also under investigation. Among these, the communications managers Johannes Frischmann and Gerald Fleischmann and the councilor Stefan Steiner. The accusations follow this morning’s search of the Chancellery and the headquarters of the OVP in Vienna.
