What happened in Ylium in Les Sables-d’Olonne this afternoon? It was not 4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5 when customers of the shopping center were asked to leave the premises.

According to witnesses, a bomb threat required the evacuation of Ylium in its entirety.

The police, alerted, secured access to the Leclerc center, quickly causing traffic difficulties around the eponymous roundabout.

It is strongly recommended not to approach the parking lot, which is closed.

According to the Sables-d’Olonne police:

A phone call was received by the mall an hour ago. A dog team is expected to dispel the doubt.

The alert was lifted shortly after 8 p.m., the dog squad having ruled out any danger. The shops can reopen this Wednesday morning.

The shopping center had already been the subject of a bomb threat on November 29, 2019. At the time, a careful search was orchestrated by the deminers, without finding any suspicious package.
