BRATISLAVA. Antigen tests that need to be unvaccinated when visiting multiple medical facilities could be free.
“This matter is being addressed. I think everyone should have access to healthcare. Now we are working with hospitals to see if it is technically possible for them to set up a collection point inside the hospital for hospital needs so that they do not have to do five-euro tests.” said Lengvarský.
At the beginning of September, the Ministry of Health issued guidelines for testing patients and employees in hospitals and outpatient clinics. Entry to hospitals or dispensaries may be conditioned by testing for the presence of a new one coronavirus unless your doctor decides otherwise. The measure should not apply to fully vaccinated persons.
The aim of the guideline, effective from 8 September, is to set the way patients are tested for all healthcare providers. The Ministry of Health justified this step, for example, by the fact that healthcare facilities are one of the places where the infection can be transmitted from patient to patient and also from patient to healthcare staff or vice versa.
Several medical facilities for TASR have confirmed that they follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.
