Actress Hiam Abbass reunites with the Nasser brothers in “Gaza mon amour”

Actress Hiam Abbass, who is also a writer, photographer, screenwriter and director, tells the story behind the shoot, her very close relationship with the Nasser brothers, with whom she had already played in “Degradé” and the complicated life of the Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

Hiam Abbass was born in Nazareth and has lived in France since the 1980s, but she has a career that goes beyond the borders of France. She plays in particular in the United States, in the series “Ramy”, where she plays the mother of a young American-Egyptian girl a little lost between her two identities, and in “Succession” where she holds for the third season the character of Marcia Roy, Lebanese wife of an American media mogul.
