Watch exclusive first shots from the first spin-off of the Game of Thrones series called House of the Dragon. The first demonstrations saw the light of day on the occasion of today’s launch of HBO Max Europe.

The new Game of Thrones will hit the screens next year!

The House of the Dragon series will show the Civil War in the West in the days when it was ruled by the Targaryen year and the sky was full of dragons. The original Game of Thrones, Rod of the Dragon, will be preceded by two hundred years. The situation in the country will be completely different to what the spectators were used to in the Game of Thrones. All the more so, the new series, which will also feature the HBO Max streaming platform, is attractive. New actors, new characters, new stories, but good old intrigues, power struggles, betrayal, murders, bloodshed and, of course, dragons!

The dragon rode has been filming since this spring and is currently waiting for confirmation of the premiere date. Fans hope it will be in the spring of next year. For now, the television is announcing an unspecified date with next year.

The first teaser trailer was unveiled during Tuesday’s virtual press conference on the occasion of the launch of HBO Max in Europe. Scandinavia will see a global streaming service at the end of October, Slovakia and the rest of Central and Eastern Europe in the first months of next year.

The trailer revealed the first official footage from the long-awaited series, in which, in addition to the previously announced representatives of several tasks, other faces from the cast appeared, for example:

Wil Johnson as Sir Vaemond Velaryon – younger brother of Corlys Velaryon and commander of the Velaryon Navy
John Macmillan as Sir Laenor Velaryon – son of Corlys Velaryon and Rhaenys Targaryen
Savannah Steyn as Lady Laena Velaryon – daughter of Corlys Velaryon and Rhaenys Targaryen.
Theo Nate as Sir Laenor Velaryon – son of Corlys Velaryon and Rhaenys Targaryen
