The Public Health Office draws attention to the glass cup Latte Macchiato “Coffee love”, in which the inspection authorities measured above-limit cadmium content. People should not buy it, they should return the purchased cups.

“Competent public health authorities in the Slovak Republic are taking measures to withdraw the product in question from the market in the Slovak Republic, which will also be reported to the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF system),” said the Chief Hygienist of the Slovak Republic Ján Mikas.

The product can still be found in stores in Slovakia, so experts recommend that consumers do not buy it, do not use the product already purchased and possibly return it to the point of sale.
