Bratislava bypass: They opened the D4 Jarovce and Petržalka section – SME.sk

BRATISLAVA. On Sunday evening, they opened a 2.2-kilometer-long section of the D4 from the Bratislava-Jarovce junction to the Bratislava-Petržalka (Rusovce) junction.

TASR was informed about this by the main contractor D4R7 Construction.

Thanks to this step, according to the construction contractor, drivers heading from the D2 or Austria will be able to connect directly to the already opened Lužný bridge and continue along the D4 to the Bratislava-Východ (Ivanka-Západ) junction. They will also be able to use the entire R7, which will be connected to the Bratislava-South junction.

On Saturday evening, they opened a 6.3-kilometer-long section of the R7 expressway from the Bratislava-Juh junction to the Bratislava-Nivy junction (Prievoz).

The last sections of the D4 / R7 project will be opened gradually. Last Sunday, a 4.3-kilometer section of the D4 motorway, including the floodplain bridge, was opened.
