According to the head of state, the most important is a stable government. However, according to her, it is not possible to talk about it at the moment. She pointed out that every week some coalition leaders talk about a possible exit from the coalition. He also considers it necessary to speak with opponents of opinions in times of crisis. According to her, they had a constructive debate with the chairman of the non-parliamentary Voice-SD, Peter Pellegrini, in the area of ​​the referendum. On the sidelines of the alleged frustration of the referendum accused by Smer-SD chairman Robert Fico, she said the leader of the opposition party and some of his colleagues were saying things that were not true.

Tense atmosphere in the country

He understands that there is a tense atmosphere in the country. According to her, what fulfills the citizens of the Slovak Republic the most are family relationships or relationships with friends, a dignified life and fair treatment. “All these three values ​​or qualities have been attacked in the last year. We have lost our loved ones, we have been afraid of our lives, we have been threatened by the social and economic situation. The subject of justice is a special category that is much debated. , “ she said.

He thinks that the role of political leaders in the current situation is to keep their own vocabulary. It is important to realize whether they want to act for the country or whether they have their own political points. According to her, the criticism in the state status report was appropriate. She emphasized that the aim was to call for cooperation. She claims that she tried to be targeted, clear, understandable, and at the same time reasonably critical. Her ambition was to offer solutions.

Slovakia needs reforms

According to the president, Slovakia needs reforms. According to her, the coalition has enough deputies to implement them. She also pointed to the investigation of dozens of cases. He positively perceives that the cases do not “sweep under the table”. At the same time, however, he perceives that this topic is “extremely politically abused”.

He criticizes some politicians for taking them out of the file. According to her, they should inform the law enforcement authorities about these topics in an appropriate manner so as not to jeopardize the investigation. He calls for restraint and not to judge those who do not.

The management of the Minister of Health Vladimír Lengvarský (OĽANO nominee) has a positive view. He thinks that Slovakia is better prepared to handle the third wave of the pandemic. However, the low number of vaccinated against COVID-19 is perceived negatively. According to her, the opposition’s position on this issue also plays a role in this issue. According to her, the topic is also often abused.
