Tense discussion in Piešťany: Conspiracies of antivaxers and eggs flew through the air! The Minister – Topky – also caught it

There were about a hundred people on the protest, shouting various anti -axish slogans from the crowd. They talked about Lengvarsky as the minister of genocide, when they left they threw the car with eggs. Opponents, however, did not protest the vaccination just for the building, some also got to the bottom and interrupted the discussion with conspiracy cries.

Eggs and conspiracies

Even before the start of the discussion, dozens of vaccine opponents, who had Slovak flags in their hands and shouted various slogans, blocked the path. The protest was organized by Piešťany’s Kotlebovci. Drábiková, one of the organizers, found out about the protest before the discussion. “I believe that this will be done in a cultured way. I therefore call on my fellow Member, Martin Beluský, to guarantee normal human decency,” stated on the social network.

After the discussion, the mood in front of the building was quite aroused. According to the portal Aktuality.sk Stanislav Mizík, a member of the ĽSNS party and a member of parliament, also took part in the protest. Some anti-vaxers standing in front of the building gates even brought torches, one of them roared the crowd that they had no drapes inside. However, everyone had a veil to discuss inside. They threw eggs at the outgoing car of the Minister of Health, shouting that the Minister was a fascist and was killing the Slovak nation.

Despite the food damage, we will continue

The Ministry of Health also commented on the protests. “At the entrance to the premises, a group of people gathered before the discussion, who loudly” welcomed “the participants of the discussion and guests with loud encouragement. They persisted on the spot until late in the evening. and strengthened the atmosphere with church shouts, “ Miroslav Staník, director of the communication department, told Topky.

“After long hours of waiting, several participants in the outdoor happening finally threw objects of animal origin at the departing vehicles. Nothing happened to any of the participants in the discussion, traces of objects of animal origin were removed from personal motor vehicles. Water was wasted on Thursday night.” remarked humorously, the ministry, which, despite the “damage to the food property of the participants”, will continue the professional discussions.

The whole situation was monitored by the police, but they did not significantly intervene in the protests. “The police monitored the situation in the city of Piešťany before, during and after the assembly. The assembly went without disturbing public order,” Mária Linkešová, a spokeswoman for the Trnava police, told Topky.

Tense atmosphere even during the discussion

On Thursday, a discussion took place in Piešťany entitled “Vaccinate? What is the way to life without restrictions?”. It was attended by the Minister of Health Vladimír Lengvarský and Piešťany doctors Zuzana Nedelková and Ján Ranostaj. The event takes place under the auspices of the deputies of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Lucie Drábiková and Marcel Mihalik, as well as the chairman of the Trnava self-governing region Jozef Viskupič.

The discussion took place in the basic mode, ie the number of guests in the audience was limited, the records of guests who had to register in advance were kept. “The Basis regime was chosen precisely because the discussion on vaccination, which is the most effective protection against the severe course of the disease, can be attended by people who have so far hesitated to decide to be vaccinated.” said Stanik.

“The goal of the Ministry of Health is to have a factual discussion about vaccination, its need and the risks of Covid-19. The Minister of Health respects the voluntary decision not to vaccinate people. Nevertheless, the Minister will continue to explain factually and professionally -19, which is the most effective protection against the severe course of this disease, ” said the resort. There was a tense atmosphere in the room from the beginning. During the discussion, many questions were asked from the audience, including critical ones, to which the participants patiently, factually and professionally answered.

Kotleba recruited people

It all started with a video by Marian Kotleb, the leader of the People’s Party of Our Slovakia, who recruited people with his words to go and express their opinion against vaccination just for discussion. “The Ministry of Health is the custodian of all these senseless measures and bullying of people,” began in the video Kotleba with the fact that the resort “invents” still something new, that forces people to wear a veil or get vaccinated. “At the head of the resort is a soldier who is taught to obey and command,” said Kotleba.

I had a crown five years ago!

He urged people to come and discuss their views on vaccination. “Let him write it down,” he said. His followers must have listened to him, as there were many people among the discussants who were against vaccination. “I had covid five years ago. I was sick, I was having trouble breathing, I had a fever.” convinced one of the women in the Lengvarsky audience. According to her, the coronavirus was here years ago and the pandemic is invented. Various other conspiracies were heard from the audience that 80 percent of unvaccinated people, on the contrary, were not vaccinated in hospitals.

These figures were also confirmed by the Minister. There are almost 85 unvaccinated people in hospitals. “I would allow any opponent to be vaccinated to go to the covid unit and see these people die, if you had a family or acquaintance there, God forbid, you’d be talking differently.” responded to similar comments Ranostaj and called it a pub debate. In a similar vein, there was almost the whole debate, when the opponents of the vaccination constantly interrupted the discussions with their truths, which, however, the experts refuted.
