The most famous Slovak influencer Zuzana Plačková spent the third night in a police detention cell. Along with her, her husband René Strausz involuntarily exchanged luxury for bars. Both are accused of drug crime and membership of a criminal group. According to the indictment resolution, they were to sell cocaine. Together with Plačková and her husband, another 13 people are charged, but only ten of them were filed for prosecution. Who painted the Queen of Instagram and her husband?

One of the accused testifies that the couple should have sold cocaine since 2017. Tibor P., who was supposed to supply Cirrus tablets from Poland, from which meth was later made, said that he had information that René Strausz, Plačková’s husband, was selling drugs in Bratislava. Another of the detainees, Martin K., again stated that he had heard that one of the accused, Peter Š. is supposed to have an effect on drugs through Plačková.

According to television information Awning however, Plačková and her husband were also to be painted by the Sereď group, which was recently disbanded by NAKA during the Venal event. Several of its members ended up in custody. In addition, wiretaps are mentioned in the indictment resolution. However, these are still in secret, so it is not clear whether they also convict influencers with their husbands of drug crime.

Will I go into custody?

Plačková herself refused to testify before the investigator. She only said that she was innocent, did not use or sell drugs. Her husband Strausz also testified. On Tuesday evening, she was questioned by the judge of the Specialized Criminal Court, Peter Pulman. Plačková spent about an hour before the judge.

However, on the day of her arrest, she did not believe that she would spend the night in a police cell. “Then I’ll comment on my Instagram,” Plačková shouted to journalists as they were loaded into handcuffs in a police car in front of her home in Miloslavov.

Her lawyer Martin Pohovej also hopes that Plačková will not spend another day behind bars. “I believe my client will go free.” said the lawyer on Tuesday before the Specialized Criminal Court. According to him, his client denies the accusations and is innocent and there are no reasons for detention. Therefore, they did not even propose any financial guarantee. Plačková allegedly endures the stay behind the bars “cool”.
