He regularly keeps statistics on the average fuel prices of individual substances per liter. We have therefore compiled clear graphs from the Office’s table to see how high the prices of petrol and other substances have risen since the beginning of 2021.

Gasoline is at record highs

With regard to the unit price in the case of petrol, the Statistical Office views 2 types of substances, Natural 95 and 98. The former mentioned gradually began to rise before the beginning of the year to almost 1.2 euros per liter. In this case, we remind you that within the results of the SO, we focus only on the average price of fuels, not specific. It didn’t take long and already in March a liter of Natural 95 cost 1.3 euros per liter. The summer did not help the price again and is currently at the level of 1.42 euros per liter, which is the highest price of Natural 95 gasoline so far this year.

It looks practically like a copier in the case of the price of natural 98 octane petrol, which even rose exponentially from 1.38 euros per liter in January to 1.52 euros per liter in March. Until the summer, the price, similar to the Natural 95, remained flat until the beginning of the summer, when at the end of August the average price climbed to 1.611 euros per liter, while it is currently at the most expensive yet. EUR 1,617 per liter.

The gas is kept level, but is still in the most expensive phase

In the case of liquefied petroleum gas, or if you want LPG, prices have not reached such dramatic fluctuations as in the case of conventional gasolines, but even here we are currently reaching the most expensive value for this year, namely 0.706 euros per liter.

The breakthrough in diesel came in February and June

However, we are experiencing the exact opposite with diesel, the price of which, as in the case of Natural 98, rose from EUR 1.066 per liter in January to EUR 1.174 per liter in March. Once again, we are facing a balanced price period until the beginning of the summer, when the price jumped to 1,255 euros per liter in July and is currently at the highest level yet. 1.27 euros per liter. Thus, it looks like that so far all fuels from the table of SO are within the average prices per liter at their highest values ​​so far in 2021.
