Three of the five accused who arrived at the interrogation at 5:00 pm were taken away by the police from the Specialized Criminal Court in Pezinok about half an hour ago. Only Zuzana Strausz Plačková and René Strausz remain inside.

According to their lawyer, clients are “fine” after two days in CPZ. But it is already clear that the verdict from the judge, whether they will remain in custody or release them, all the accused will not find out until tomorrow at 15:00.

The court began hearing the first five accused at two in the afternoon, and the second, in which Plačková and Strausz are to be, will be at five in the afternoon. At that moment, Zuzana is already in Pezinok, a police escort brought her in at 4:30 pm, as well as her husband René. However, they brought both separately, ie in two different vehicles.

The Influencer and her husband are accused of the crime of establishing, conspiring and supporting a criminal group and of the particularly serious crime of illicit production of, possession and trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, poisons or precursors.

The group had been committing the crime since 2012. Plačková, together with her husband and three other accused, were to distribute cocaine to lower-ranking dealers, but also to end users. According to the resolution on the indictment, the prosecution was initiated last year on September 29.

“A criminal group composed of Tibor Gubáň, Peter Šoka, Miroslav Farkaš, Dávid Lukáč, René Strausz and Zuzana Strausz Plačková, operating in the Trnava, Bratislava and Trenčín regions, in the period from 2012 to the present, carried out for profit, through the created infrastructure of persons, the import of a drug called cocaine and its subsequent distribution through a network of dealers of that criminal group to end-users of the drug, “ it is written in the resolution. The investigator adds that the exact amount of cocaine cannot be determined, as well as the value of the drug produced.

During the house search, the Strausz couple seized six mobile phones, a laptop and an identity card in the name of Mário Herák. The investigator notes that they have not yet been convicted of any specific crime. The investigator informed in a resolution that both Strauszas refused to testify, stating only that they were innocent, did not consume or sell drugs. However, witnesses and wiretaps are to convict them.

“The communication of the perpetrators regarding the commission of the acts was stable and the individual objects in which the perpetrators stayed were established.” the resolution states that these acts are currently in secret mode. If found guilty, everyone faces 20 to 25 years in prison, and in exceptional cases up to life.
