Special Prosecutor Daniel Lipšic will lose his monthly salary because he did not manage to file a notification of his property relations. He had to do so within 30 days of taking office. This was said by the chairman of the parliamentary committee on incompatibility of functions Boris Susko (Smer).

“The proceedings were initiated there, now we have imposed a fine on him in the amount of the monthly salary of a public official for the previous year,” Susko said after the committee meeting.

He added that there were several public officials who did not meet the 30-day deadline. Such an obligation is stipulated by the Act on the Protection of the Public Interest in the Performance of the Functions of Public Officials.

Daniel Lipšic took over the position of special prosecutor this year in mid-February. He took the oath in the hands of Speaker of Parliament Boris Kollár (We are a family).
