Kočner, Zsuzsová and others were accused of preparations for the murders of prosecutors – SME.sk

The prosecutor filed a charge against a total of five people.

BRATISLAVA. The prosecutor of the Office of the Special Prosecutor’s Office filed a charge against five persons on Tuesday at the Specialized Criminal Court – Mariana Kočnera, Alena Zsuzsová, Tomáš Szabó, Dušan Kracina and Darko Dragic.

As an organized group, they were to prepare for the assassination of the Attorney General Maroš Žilinka, a special prosecutor Daniela Lipšica and Prosecutor Petr Šufliarský.

The spokeswoman informed TASR General Prosecutor’s Office SR Jana Tökölyová.

She made it clear that they were preparing for the murders of two chief prosecutors, Žilinka and Šufliarský, as well as the then lawyer Lipšic, for whose execution a financial reward was offered.

The prosecutor filed charges against everyone for continuing a particularly serious crime of assassination in preparation. In the case of Zsuzs and Szabó, also to help with the crime of illicit armaments and arms trafficking.

At the end of August 2019, an investigator from the Office of the Inspection Service of the Ministry of the Interior originally accused Zsuzsová, Szabó, Miroslav Marček and Zoltán Andruskó of preparing murders.

The order for the murders of Žilinka and Lipšica was to come in the autumn of 2017, and Zsuzsová was to accept it. After the testimony of Andruskó, convicted in the case of the murder of journalist Ján Kuciak and his fiancée, they also detained the businessman Dušan Kracina.

In March of this year, Darka Dragica, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was also charged. Kočner was indicted as the last at the end of June.

In the past, Žilinka and Šufliarsky expressed the belief that the motive for the order was their work, and Lipšic is convinced that the client was Kočner.

The preparation of the murders was first investigated by the Office of the Inspection Service, later taken over by it National Criminal Agency.
