There are 22,041 new coronavirus cases registered in Russia in the last 24 hours and 822 people who have lost their lives due to complications. This was announced by the task force in charge of monitoring the progress of the pandemic in the country. The total number of infections in Russia since the outbreak of the pandemic is thus updated to 7,269,514, as reported by Johns Hopkins University.
