Coronavirus in Slovakia: 1,039 cases and two deaths increased – SME.sk

BRATISLAVA. Using PCR tests, they revealed 1,039 cases of new infection in Slovakia on Friday coronavirus.

The laboratories performed 10,449 PCR tests, so the positivity of the tested samples was 9.94 percent.

Two more victims of Covid-19 were added, and a total coronavirus pandemic in Slovakia claimed 12,596 victims.

This is reported by the National Center for Health Information.

The most positively tested by PCR tests were in the Prešov region (297), followed by Žilinský (199), Košický (183), Trenčiansky (104), Banskobystrický (98), Bratislavský (82), Trnavský (41) and Nitriansky region (35).

On Friday, they also performed 22,606 antigen tests in Slovakia, of which 263 had a positive result.

The total number of patients hospitalized with or suspected of coronavirus increased by four to 500. The confirmed coronavirus has 397.

There are 55 patients in the intensive care units, and 46 need artificial lung ventilation support.

The first dose vaccines on Friday it received 3,622 people, a total of 2,436,865 people were vaccinated in this way. There are 2,314,655 people fully vaccinated in Slovakia.
