Inspectorate decided to examine fuel: They published a LIST of gas stations where fines were imposed – Topky.sk

Last year, inspectors of the Slovak Environmental Inspectorate (SIŽP) found non-compliance with the prescribed parameters in five samples of motor fuels, which they took at filling stations in Slovakia. There were two samples of gasoline and three samples of LPG. The inspectorate fined a total of EUR 12,800 for non-compliance with fuel quality requirements. This was stated by the spokesperson of SIŽP Tamara Lesná.

Last year, an inspection inspected 173 filling stations throughout Slovakia. Non-compliance with the required quality of motor fuels was found at five filling stations. “Up to seven non-compliant parameters were found in the samples. In LPG, the sulfur content was increased three times and the corrosive effect of copper was twice. Gasoline was twice as high in manganese,” Lesná approached.

What are they interested in during the inspection?

According to Lesná, fuel inspections are focused on keeping records, proving quality and reporting data. The Air Protection Inspection Department of the SIŽP will take fuel samples for inspection, which will then be evaluated by an authorized laboratory.

A valid fine of EUR 2,500 was imposed.

Ján Čižmarik – ČIŽO, Kluknava 573, 053 51 Kluknava,

By analyzing the LPG sample in the parameter:
– the sulfur content, determined to be 90,7 mg / kg, exceeded the maximum permitted limit of 30 mg / kg,
corrosive action on copper, the specified value of 2c exceeded the maximum permitted limit of 1.
A valid fine of EUR 3,000 was imposed.

Normbenz Slovakia, sro, Einsteinova 24, 851 01 Bratislava,

operation ČS LUKOIL, Ludvíka Svobodu 44, 080 01 Prešov

Number of non – complied parameters: 1
By analyzing the LPG sample in the parameter – sulfur content, the determined value of 76.1 mg / kg exceeds the maximum permitted limit of 30 mg / kg.
A valid fine of EUR 3,300 was imposed.

The company appealed against the decision of the SIŽP on the fine and is therefore undergoing a second-instance administrative proceeding at the SIŽP Headquarters.
