Iliad only a year ago bought the mobile operator Play in Polandwhich has more than 15 million clients. Now it is also gaining a fixed share – UPC Poland is strong in television and Internet services for households. It has 1.31 million clients with internet and over 1.35 million subscribers with TV and 619,000 people with a landline.

Together, Play and UPC will become the 2nd largest mobile operator in Poland with revenues of almost two billion euros. The UPC brand will be gradually withdrawn from Poland and become a subsidiary of Play.

Iliad expects the transaction to be approved in the first half of 2022.

We remind you that the French Iliad operates in Italy price-aggressive mobile operator. In Poland, mobile services are already cheap. In recent years has also changed the French mobile market.
