Actor Saïd Bogota sentenced to 16 years in prison for attempted assassination

Known for his roles in “Taxi 5” and “Pattaya”, actor Saïd Bogota was sentenced Tuesday to 16 years in prison by the Essonne Assize Court for minors for kidnapping, kidnapping and attempting to kill a 17-year-old teenager. Two accomplices who participated in the events were sentenced to 10 and 13 years in prison. A minor accused of complicity was acquitted.

The charges against Saïd Bogota were established against a background of jealousy in love. The victim is none other than a 17-year-old apprentice mechanic, the new boyfriend of the actor’s former girlfriend. In December 2018, the young man was kidnapped and then sequestered in a cellar of a building where he suffered in particular jets of acid and tear gas on his face.
