Fico speaks of Voice as a natural partner, Pellegrini called it a calculus – PRAVDA.sk

The chairman of the Direction, Robert Fico, described possible and pre-election cooperation with the non-parliamentary Voice as the most natural. Voice leader Peter Pellegrini sees calculus and political tactics in this.

Fico emphasized that Smer wants to promote things important for the Slovak social democracy. “We are interested in creating pre-election cooperation, if anyone is serious about a stable government, a government that will restore the character of the rule of law and the welfare state. It can only be a block of Direction and Voice, “he said.

He did not answer the question of whether he could imagine working with Boris Kollár and We Are Family. He underlined that Smer did not comment on polls and did not talk to anyone he knew or could not rule with. According to him, the results of the elections will be significant, while parties over five percent have the right to negotiate.

Regarding Smer, Pellegrini noted that you do not choose partners in the opposition. He again criticized the party for not giving them the missing signatures to the proposal to convene an extraordinary meeting to dismiss Prime Minister Eduard Heger (OĽANO). She thinks that she could also talk about the topics that Smer wants to address.

At the same time, he declared that the Voice would go to the polls as a separate party. “Now it is absolutely useless to force yourself into cooperation. It’s just a tactic from the side from which the offer comes. Don’t look for anything honest about it, it’s an ordinary political cold-blooded calculus, “Pellegrini responded to Fico’s words.

Only ĽSNS was excluded from post-election cooperation. If Hlas succeeds in the elections and will be able to choose, the criterion for Pellegrini will be what each party wants to do to improve the lives of the people in Slovakia.

The direction reacted to Pellegrini’s statement that if this is to be the beginning of their natural cooperation, it is ready to supply them with the missing ten signatures for the government’s dismissal after the dismissal of the Minister of the Interior, Roman Mikulec (OĽANO). He declared that the dismissal of the government is also his political priority, although it will rather lead to the strengthening of the coalition. The direction also awaits the Voice’s explanation for the withdrawal of the proposal to dismiss the Minister of Justice, Mária Kolíková. He talks about various interpretations, “including those about the agreement of the Voice, SaS and For People to protect Maria Kolíková from the devastating result of the appeal.”
