POLITICS – The leader of rebellious France, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, said this Monday, September 20 in the evening to live “like a fight” his upcoming televised debate in front of the polemicist Eric Zemmour which represents, according to him, a “concentrated lepenism”.

The debate between Mélenchon, candidate for the Élysée for the third time in 2002, and the journalist, who plays with the idea of ​​introducing himself too in the presidential, is scheduled for Thursday at 8:45 p.m. on BFMTV.

“I see this debate as a fight,” Mélenchon underlined on LCI while his choice to do battle with the polemicist is contested by certain rebellious activists, believing that Zemmour should not be offered such publicity.

“Concentrated Lepenism”

Faced with these criticisms, the leader of LFI said he wanted to impose his themes on him, such as “social and ecology” which will constitute “half of the show” against Zemmour who, according to him, can only say “ evil of Muslims ”.

“With Mr. Zemmour we have concentrated lepenism”, it is “a concentrate of hatred”. “I knew him as a brilliant commentator (…) and then I saw him collapse (…) he has an idea of ​​the history of France which is sectarian” (…), “these people are propagating a doctrine which leads to violence, ”he commented.

“He is of the extreme right and embodies everything I have always fought (…) He does 300 pages of cancan to speak ill of Muslims”, added Mélenchon about Eric Zemmour, condemned twice. for inciting racial hatred.

The polemicist, who no longer hides his presidential ambitions for 2022, is omnipresent in the media today and crisscrosses France to promote his book “France has not said its last word”.
