Trouble in the metro. Since this Monday, 5:15 am, Toulouse metro line A is partially interrupted, between Roseraie and Balma-Gramont stations due to an “electrical fault” at the Jolimont station, says Tisséo.

Replacement buses have been put in place to allow travelers to travel along the three affected stations: Balma-Gramont, Argoulets and Jolimont.

This situation will continue … Woven announced this Monday evening that 48 hours will be necessary to restart the line between the Roseraie and Balma-Gramont stations.

“The return to service should take place on Wednesday September 22,” Tisséo announced in a press release.

The service operates normally between Basso-Cambo and Jolimont.

Why such a delay to repair the blackout this morning?

Tisséo explains:

“A track reconnaissance was carried out like every morning before the opening of the metro. During this security check, an electrical fault, a malfunction of an insulating block, was detected on the track near the Roseraie station. This malfunction impacted the track guide rail, as a precautionary principle, service was therefore interrupted on line A on the Jolimont – Balma-Gramont section. In order to relaunch the line in its entirety, 48 hours are needed to cut the rail, to replace it, to weld and finally to carry out a safety check ”.
