Daily hospital admissions could range from 75 to 100 cases, said Health Minister Vladimir Lengvarsky. The majority of hospitalized patients are currently unvaccinated.

There are more burgundy districts

In the burgundy phase are the districts of Bardejov Krupina, Rožňava and Skalica.

In the red phase are the districts of Bánovce nad Bebravou, Banská Štiavnica, Brezno, Bytča, Gelnica, Košice I – IV, Košice-okolie, Levice, Levoča, Martin, Poprad, Prešov, Revúca, Sabinov, Senica, Snina, Spišská Nová Ves, Stará Ľubovňa, Svidník , Trenčín, Veľký Krtíš, Žarnovica, Žilina and Zvolen.

Stricter conditions for wearing veils

From Monday, measures in non-green districts will be tightened. Stricter conditions apply to the wearing of drapes, visits to medical facilities or the operation of spas and wellness. Daša Račková, a spokeswoman for the Public Health Office (ÚVZ) of the Slovak Republic, reminded this.

It is valid in the green and orange districts the obligation to cover the upper respiratory tract respirator, drape, scarf or shawl, indoors, including public transport and taxis. The veil is also mandatory at mass events, even outdoors. In the red districts, a respirator in the interior, including means of public transport and taxis, is already mandatory. In the exterior, it is mandatory to cover the upper airways with a respirator, drape, scarf or shawl at mass events. Only persons who are fully vaccinated, have overcome COVID-19 disease no more than 180 days ago or have a negative COVID-19 test result may be visitors to medical facilities. “This does not apply to persons bringing or accompanying patients for examination or hospitalization, only to persons who come to visit hospitalized persons,” reminded Račková.

Prescription limits no longer apply to prescription hospitals. Wellness facilities, water parks, natural and therapeutic spas they still have a choice of three modes of operation. Operating conditions are tightened from the orange color, when operations can no longer use the base mode, which allows you to let into the space of everyone regardless of vaccination or test. In the case of the OTP mode (vaccinated-tested-overcoming COVID-19), the districts in orange can fill a maximum of half of their capacity.

Only ten people in these facilities can be accommodated in the red districts in the OTP regime. The base mode must not be used, in the case of the vaccinated mode, operations do not have capacity limits. “In burgundy districts, the activity is permitted up to ten persons only for establishments which are part of accommodation establishments and provide services only for fully vaccinated accommodated guests,” added Račková.

What changes at services or weddings?

From Monday, measures in non-green districts will be tightened. Stricter conditions apply to services, weddings or celebrations. Worship services can still be implemented in three regimes. In the green, orange, red and burgundy districts, it is possible to organize masses for the vaccinated without capacity restrictions. In the case of the OTP regime (vaccination-testing-after overcoming COVID-19), it is possible to fill half of the standing space capacity and 75 percent of the seating space capacity in the green districts.

In the orange districts, the interior can be filled to a maximum of 25 percent of the space, the exterior to 50 percent. In the red districts, it is possible to fill the space to 25 percent, regardless of whether it is the exterior or interior. The same rule applies in burgundy districts, with a maximum of 50 people in the area.

If services are held for all regardless of vaccination or test (basis mode) in the green districts, the standing space can be filled by a maximum of half and the seating space by 75 percent. In the orange districts, there can be a maximum of one hundred people in the outdoor standing area, 50 in the interior. The outdoor seating area can be half full, a quarter in the interior, but up to a maximum of one hundred people. In the red districts in the basic regime, 15 square meters of space capacity must be reserved per person. The same rule applies in burgundy districts.

Without a capacity limit for the vaccinated, it is possible to organize a wedding or baptism ceremony from green to the burgundy color of the district. In the orange districts in the OTP mode, the interior can be half full, the exterior half full. In the case of the base mode, there may be a maximum of 100 persons or 200 persons outdoors in the seating area. This is half as much in the case of standing space.

In the red districts in the OTP regime, it is possible to have 25 percent of the space filled during a wedding or baptism ceremony. In the case of the foundation mode, 15 square meters of space must be reserved per person. It is even stricter in burgundy districts, when in the OTP mode it is possible to fill 25 percent of the space capacity and in the base mode there can be a maximum of six people in the space.

Weddings, kary, celebrations, parties or events in public catering establishments may not take place in burgundy districts under the base or OTP regime. Events are only possible for the vaccinated, even for a maximum of 20 people. Weddings or celebrations may not take place in base mode or in the red, orange and green districts. In the OTP mode, it is possible to have a maximum of 25 people indoors, 40 people outdoors in the red districts. In the case of vaccinees, there can be a maximum of 50 people indoors and 80 outdoors in the red districts.

Milder conditions apply to orange districts, where in the OTP regime there can be a maximum of 50 people indoors or 100 indoors or 100 outdoors. Twice as many people can take part in events as long as they are organized in the vaccination mode. In the green districts, 200 people are allowed in the OTP regime indoors and 400 outdoors. Twice the participants in the event are possible if the event is organized in the mode for the vaccinated only.

Tightening for mass events, visits to museums and exhibitions

In case operations and mass events organizers can still choose in which mode they will operate – ie base, OTP or vaccination. If the operation in the burgundy district operates in the base mode, the operator is obliged to introduce the so-called senior hours. And that from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 11.00.

Cultural and mass events, as well as visits to museums, galleries and exhibitions, where all participants are vaccinated, have no capacity limit. “If the participation is higher than 1000 persons, this event must be reported at the latest to the local regional public health authority no later than 48 hours before the start,” approached the office.

In green districts, the maximum permitted capacity for mass and cultural events is 50 percent for standing and 75 percent for sitting. If it is not possible to determine the capacity, a maximum of 5000 outdoor and 2500 indoor shall be permitted in the OTP mode. In the case of the base mode, there can be a maximum of 1000 people outdoors and 500 people indoors.

In the orange districts, museums, exhibitions and tours can be visited indefinitely in the OTP regime. Mass and cultural events remain limited. For mass events, a maximum of half capacity is allowed outdoors, a maximum of 25 indoors. If it is not possible to determine the capacity, a maximum of 1000 people is allowed outdoors and 500 indoors. For cultural events in the OTP mode, the limit of 50 percent capacity applies, up to 500 people indoors or 1,000 outdoors.

In the basic mode, standing masses are allowed to stand outdoors for a maximum of 100 people and for 50 people indoors at mass events. In the case of outdoor seating, it is allowed to fill a maximum of half the capacity (but up to 200 people), indoors a maximum of 25 percent (but up to 100 people). In the case of cultural events, a maximum of 50 percent of the seating capacity can be filled (maximum 250 indoor or 500 outdoor seating). It is also possible to fill a maximum of 50 percent of the capacity in the case of standing (however, a maximum of 50 people indoors or 100 outdoors). Only individual tours of up to one person per 15 square meters are allowed in museums, galleries and exhibition halls in the base mode.

In both red and burgundy districts, it is allowed to organize mass events in the OTP regime when the maximum quarter of the capacity is filled. If not specified, a maximum of 150 people are allowed in the red districts and 50 in burgundy. At cultural events, a maximum of half the capacity can be filled, while in the red districts up to 250 people indoors and up to 500 outdoors. The burgundy can be up to 150 people indoors and 200 people outdoors. In the OTP mode, group inspections of up to ten people are allowed in the red districts, in the case of burgundy districts, only individual inspections for one person per 15 square meters are allowed.

In the base mode, it is allowed to organize mass events for a maximum of ten people in the red districts and for a maximum of six people in the burgundy. Cultural events are allowed in the red districts up to half the capacity, but up to 50 seated people. Tours of museums, galleries and exhibitions are only allowed individually with a limit of one visitor per square meter. In burgundy districts, these visits are prohibited for the base regime, as is the organization of cultural events.
