A Surface for Pro

According to The Verge therefore, one of the announcements of the evening should be the release of a Surface Pro 8. Unless there is any surprise, this one should receive the latest 11th generation Intel processors. Also, the design shouldn’t vary that much from the Surface Pro 7, but the screen could be endowed with finer contours, allowing it to enlarge by a few millimeters. The presence of a modular SSD is also mentioned.

Also, the specialized site quotes a source within Microsoft who claims that one of the USB ports would be Thunderbolt compatible, which would be a first for a Surface device. For safety reasons. In addition, one of the models would be equipped only with USB-C ports, forgetting the good old classic USB.

A design that does not stay on the surface

According to Windows Central, Microsoft was working on a Surface Book 4. It would be a very high-end model, which would have a screen capable of moving towards the front of the device, in order to pass from ‘laptop to tablet mode.

The screen in question would potentially have a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a speed rarely seen for an office PC. It would take advantage of a new functionality within Windows 11 which would better manage the dynamic refresh rates, and which would thus make it possible to switch from an extremely fast mode to a more classic mode depending on the uses.

Adding such a refresh rate would be a sign that Microsoft wants to make using the Surface Pen easier. The Surface Book 4 would also integrate a haptic feedback when using the stylus. We could also store the stylus on the side of the PC to avoid losing it and it would take the opportunity to charge.

Models that are also more accessible

On the side of slightly more accessible models, the brand could also announce a new 2-in-1 Surface Pro X, which would also display a better refresh rate.

Microsoft is looking for its Fold

He would embark a new launcher and could take better photos, since a photo unit with wide-angle, telephoto and ultra-wide-angle module. As a reminder, the first Surface Duo only displayed a selfie camera that could be used in the traditional way by folding the device.
