In Slovakia, the third dose of vaccine for the disease will be vaccinated from Monday, September 13 Covid-19. These will be people who are eight months after receiving the second dose of mRNA vaccine. After Wednesday’s government meeting, the Minister of Health Vladimír Lengvarský (OĽANO nominee) informed about it.

The third dose will first be given to healthcare professionals. Then it will be immunocompromised patients, clients and employees of social services centers, teachers and employees of schools and school facilities, patients over 60 years of age and finally the rest of the population, Lengvarský explained.

“I believe that, based on experience from other countries, it will contribute to greater protection of vaccinated patients and a possible reduction in the burden on medical facilities., “he said.
