The situation is still tense in Kabul. The Taliban fired several shots in the air on Tuesday (September 7th) in the capital to disperse a demonstration of dozens of Afghans who denounced Pakistan’s interference in Afghan affairs, AFP journalists noted.

Nearly 70 Afghans, men and women, gathered in front of the Pakistani embassy, ​​waving placards and shouting hostile slogans in Islamabad, close to the new Taliban regime, in power since mid-August.
