The situation is still tense in Kabul. The Taliban fired several shots in the air on Tuesday (September 7th) in the capital to disperse a demonstration of dozens of Afghans who denounced Pakistan’s interference in Afghan affairs, AFP journalists noted.

Nearly 70 Afghans, men and women, gathered in front of the Pakistani embassy, waving placards and shouting hostile slogans in Islamabad, close to the new Taliban regime, in power since mid-August.
