Zuberu Sharani and Andrejs Ciganiks also play for Dunajská Streda.
The attackers Nikola Krstovič from Montenegro, the Hungarian Ákos Szendrei and the guest from Royal Antwerp were Cameroonian offensive footballer with a market value of 4.5 million euros Didier Lamkel Zé.
The 24-year-old winger or striker will thus be the player with the highest value in the Fortuna League. He spent his youth at the L’École de Football Brasseries du Cameroun (EFBC), from where he moved to the academy of the French OSC Lille at the age of seventeen.
He was borrowed two years later by the second league Niort, where he finally spent two seasons. In the summer of 2018, he transferred to Royal Antwerp, Belgium, for which he played a total of 88 duels, scored 21 goals and added 12 assists.
In November 2019, he made his debut in the jersey of the Cameroonian national team. In the Royal jersey, he celebrated winning the Belgian Cup last year.
“I am very, very happy to be here. I saw the club project and I really liked it, so I consider this hosting to be the right step in my career. The environment is at a high level, but at the same time family.
I’ve also seen footage of the fans and I can’t wait to introduce myself to them. I still have to talk to the coach about the team’s goals, but I definitely don’t want to end up worse than in the first three. I believe that I will contribute to this with a double-digit number of goals and also with assists, because I long to return to the Cameroon national team.
The fact that I will be the most valuable player in the league does not bother me. I am a football player who does not feel pressure after entering the field, “he told Lamkel Zé’s official website.
According to the Transfermarkt portal, Lamkel Zé will become the most valuable player in the Fortuna league, with a market value of 4.5 million euros. With his arrival, the price of the DAC staff will increase by more than a third of the current 12.75 million euros.
“Didier is the player who made a name for himself in the Belgian top competition and his football CV speaks for itself. His physical preconditions (195 cm high), great technique, speed and shooting with both feet make him a modern creative player who can compete in various offensive posts.
It is excellent in finding space between lines, creating goal situations in the form of assists and finishes. In Belgium, people will be sad and happy because of his departure for our club and our league, because something has always happened around his person and his every move was under a magnifying glass.
The truth is that he is a great player and he is ready to prove it with us. Thanks to this new challenge, he can once again focus on what is at stake in the first place: Didier’s football qualities. We believe that the peaceful environment we offer him is exactly what he needs to perform at his best. We wish him a nice welcome in the yellow-blue family, “said DAC Sports Director Jan Van Daele.
Twenty-one-year-old Krstovič came from Crvena Zvezda Belgrade and signed a four-year contract valid until June 30, 2025. He started his career in his hometown at the FK Zeta Golubovci club, for which he played in 96 matches and scored 41 goals.
In the 2018/2019 season, he was the best scorer of the highest competition with 17 goals. In the jersey of the Red Star, he collected 26 starts and three goals and participated in winning two championship titles (2019/20 and 2020/21), and last season he also celebrated winning the Serbian Cup.
“It is a great honor and pleasure for me to become a member of the DAC. I hope to meet all expectations and do everything I can to contribute to the success of the team. We face great challenges and I look forward to successfully fighting for the highest goals together with new teammates and coaches and with the support of the fans. I can’t wait for my debut in a new jersey, “he said.
The DAC also won the Hungarian under-19 representative Ákos Szendrei, who came from Paks and signed a five-year contract. The 18-year-old striker scored 15 starts in the Paks jersey, 11 of them in the first league, where he scored two goals.
“I am very excited and happy that my transfer to DAC was successful. The club has great fans, there is a great atmosphere at the matches, the conditions are also at an extra level. I am very much looking forward to Wednesday, when I will join the team after the national team meeting.
In the beginning, my priority will be to collect minutes on the lawn, fight my way into the line-up and gradually improve. I want to help the team succeed and I would like to play in its jersey in European cups, “he said.
