According to Mark Gurmand (Bloomberg), the Apple Watch Series 7 would only be available in limited quantities at launch.
Apple will be back to school! The famous Cupertino brand is said to have planned to hold several keynotes in September and maybe at least one more in October. Enough to occupy the media landscape with a renewal of its catalog: iPhone 13 , MacBook Pro, iPad and Apple Watch Series 7 are already expected. For the latter, information continues to flourish regularly.
A launch close, but limited stocks
In his newsletter Power On, Mark Gurman, Bloomberg reporter who has repeatedly proven its reliability, indicates that the announcement of the Apple Watch Series 7 would still be planned internally alongside the iPhone 13 from next week. Nevertheless, the connected watchwould suffer from production problems due to his new screen, which still leaves some doubt. The journalist then evokes three possible scenarios:
- A postponement of the announcement of the Apple Watch 7 until the problems are resolved.
- A very limited stock at launch.
- Marketing postponed despite an ad maintained.
According to Mark Gurman, options 2 and 3 are the most likely, with different models available in small quantities for some and with a later launch date for others.
A new bigger screen
As a reminder, the Apple Watch 7 should completely change its design this year, abandoning its curves to adopt a more industrial and angular design, like the iPhone 12. Its screen should also expand with two size variations: 41 and 45 mm.
However, we should not expect a technical revolution or new health-related sensors. See you (maybe) next week to find out more.
