Coronavirus in Slovakia: Tests captured a hundred infected people, two more victims (minute by minute) – SME.sk

10:35 WORLD – Chief Medical Adviser to the US President Joe Biden expects that administration of a booster dose of Covid-19 vaccine will begin in the United States on September 20.

It will be first vaccine Pfizer and, a few weeks later, the Moderna vaccine.

10:01 SLOVAKIA – 242 people could be vaccinated in the past day. The first dose of the vaccine has already been received by 2,390,168 people in Slovakia.

2,184,789 people are completely vaccinated, 488 of whom received the vaccine last day.

10:00 SLOVAKIA – Laboratories tested 13,726 samples of PCR tests yesterday. They detected 101 infected.

In the last week, the number has tested positive for delta variant 356 samples out of a total of 359 sequenced samples. This represents a 99.2 percent share.

The most positively tested RT-PCR tests were in the Košice region (52), followed by Žilinský (11), Bratislavský (10), Nitriansky (10), Banskobystrický (9), Prešovský (5), Trenčiansky (2) and Trnavský (2) .

There are 55 men and 46 women among them. The total number of positively tested men is 189,165 and women 207,016.

5,045 antigen assays were also performed, revealing 50 infected.

Two other people succumbed to the coronavirus. The total number of “Covid” deaths is 12,551 and the total number of “Covid” deaths is 2,458.

The number of people in need of hospitalization has increased by one. There are currently 112 people in hospitals, 83 of whom have confirmed the disease.

07:50 WORLD – 139 new cases were added to the Czech Republic on Sunday coronavirus infections. There were 81 of them last Sunday.

07:13 WORLD – Western Australia border they will be closed to people from the Australian states of New South Wales and Victoria, as well as from the capital Canberra, until 2022, the prime minister of the state Mark McGowan said on Monday.

“I believe we will reopen when we achieve a very high vaccination rate. I expect sometime next year,” McGowan told Nine Network.

06:21 WORLD – About three hundred people demonstrated in the Czech Republic on Sunday on the Old Town Square in the Czech capital Prague against epidemiological measures in schools. The protest was peaceful. Above all, the Czech flags were visible above the crowd and several speakers spoke on the stage, News reported.
