Striker Jesperi Kotkaniemi became a definite member of the Carolina Hurricanes team on Saturday. The Montreal Canadiens team decided not to match the submitted sheet.

One week ago, Kotkaniemi accepted Hurricanes’ offer for an annual contract worth $ 6,100,015 as a limited free agent. The Canadiens had seven days to call her. To compensate for the player’s loss, they receive elections from Carolina in the first and third rounds of Draft 2022.
