Slovakia has another more than 200 infected, almost a third are from the east – Korzár

EASTERN SLOVAKIA. In Slovakia, 219 positively tested people in the form of RT-PCR tests and 43 positively tested by antigen tests were added on Saturday.

21,034 RT-PCR tests and 6,273 antigen tests were completed.

Thus, a 1 percent positivity rate was achieved in the PCR assays, and 0.7 percent in the antigen assays.

In the last week, the number has tested positive for delta variant 356 samples out of a total of 359 sequenced. This represents a 99.2 percent share.

Situation in the regions

The most infected were detected thanks to PCR tests in the Bratislava and Trenčín regions, in both of them there were 41.

The Košice region finished third with 37 cases and the fourth in Prešov (27).

They are followed by Žilinský (24), Nitriansky (18), Trnavský (17) and Banskobystrický kraj (14).

In the east, they were most infected in the district of Prešov (15), which thus took second place after Bratislava (34). Košice and Rožňava finished third together with 14 cases.

Other infected in the east were reported from the districts of Bardejov (4), Košice-okolie (3), Michalovce (3), Poprad (3), Stará Ľubovňa (3), Spišská Nová Ves (2), Snina (1), Trebišov (1). ) and Vranov nad Topľou (1).

In total, there were 64 more positive testers in eastern Slovakia.

There were no casualties or hospitalizations

Hospitalized people did not increase, so there are currently 111 patients in hospitals. Confirmed disease covid-19 has 82 people. There are 16 patients in the intensive care units, 11 people need the support of artificial lung ventilation.

There were no casualties of covid-19. The total number of deaths per covid is 12,549 and the total number of deaths with covid is 2,457.

The total number of people vaccinated with the first dose vaccines is 2,389,760, 391 vaccinees were added on Saturday. The second dose of the vaccine has already been given to 2,184,036 people, and 310 people have been vaccinated the past day.
