Out of 11,605 RT-PCR tests performed, on Friday (September 3) in Slovakia, 329 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were detected in Slovakia. The number of victims did not increase, the number of hospitalized increased by six patients. Antigen tests revealed another 110 cases. The National Center for Health Information (NCZI) informs about it on the website covid-19.nczisk.sk.
As specified by the Ministry of Health on a social network, in the last week, the number of positively tested for delta variants is 356 samples out of the total number of 359 sequenced samples. This represents a 99.2% representation.
The most positively tested by PCR tests were in the Bratislava region (55), followed by Trenčiansky (53), Žilinský (52), Banskobystrický (49), Košický (47), Prešovský (39), Nitriansky (20) and Trnavský region (14).
There are 160 men and 169 women among them. The total number of positively tested men is 189,002 and women 206,859.
The situation in hospitals
“111 patients are hospitalized in hospitals, of which 82 people have a confirmed disease. There are 16 patients at JIS, 11 people need the support of artificial lung ventilation. The number of confirmed victims of the pulmonary form of COVID-19 did not increase. The total number of deaths “on Covid” is 12,549 and the total number of deaths “with Covid” is 2,457. “

The total number of people vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine is 2,389,270 and 2,682 have been vaccinated the previous day. The second dose of the vaccine has already been received by 2,183,561 people, and 4,894 people have been vaccinated the past day.
The total number of inactive cases is 719,649. These are people who have overcome COVID-19 disease, either clinically or asymptomaticly, and 2 to 4 weeks have elapsed since the test was found in outpatients and 6 weeks in inpatients.
