There too, the demonstrators are more and more numerous, nearly a thousand according to our journalist on the spot. They go up the Boulevard de la Croix-Rousse and take the Boulevard des Canuts. The organizers have planned activities at Charpenne, the point of arrival of their event. There should be moments of anger where the protesters will be invited to let their discontent explode. There should also be “games”.
Among the slogans of this procession: “Do not seek logic, even vaccinated we are contaminants. Do not tell yourself that you are selfish ”or even“ Macron in prison! “
14:42 | Courthouse: the parade sets off
The ranks swelled, the demonstrators are about 800, according to the estimates of our journalist on the spot. A “peaceful club” citizen protection service is in place to supervise the event and act as a link with the police.

About 300 people, mainly extreme left groups and in particular the yellow vests, gathered in front of the Court of Appeal of Lyon (Lyon 5th). The parade scheduled for around 2:30 p.m. will start in the direction of the auditorium. About twenty yellow vests are present.
2:20 p.m. | Croix-Rousse: the slogans “angry parents” appear
This is the first time that the demonstrators have left Croix-Rousse, an assumed choice, explains one of the organizers, to “reach people in neighborhoods where they are not used to seeing us”. An improvised picnic was held before departure.
At the heart of the demands, this Saturday following the start of the school year, we talk a lot about “children”. The slogans “angry parents” are displayed. “When it comes to health, people need to be able to make informed decisions. Children cannot do so even in establishments, at the level of the rectorate, the incentive to be vaccinated is very strong. The role of National Education is not to do medicine, nor proselytism, ”explains Dominique Garret, one of the spokespersons of the collective against coronafolie.
“I pay taxes, I want to be able to go to the swimming pool like the others”
Colette, 59 years old. Says herself a responsible citizen in the land of human rights. “Here there are responsible people, people who respect barrier gestures, who are non-violent, and who want to exercise their right to oppose. I ask for the three pillars of France, freedom, equal rights, and fraternity. I pay taxes, I want to be able to go to the pool like everyone else. I don’t want to be ostracized. “
She adds: “I am not a conspirator but I am for people’s thinking. “
2:05 pm | About 200 demonstrators in Croix-Rousse
Anti-sanitary pass demonstrators gather on the esplanade of La Croix rousse, at the call of four groups. The “coronafolie” collective, the “Agora Event” collective, a collective of caregivers 69 and the “one our world will have it” movement. They are nearly 200.
They say they are apolitical. “I ask for justice and dignity,” said a spokesperson at the microphone. Protesters call for occupying public space, boycotting the health pass, signing petitions and supporting lawyers who filed complaints against Olivier Veran and Jean-Michel Blanquer.
The demonstration has not yet left. People come together.
In Lyon, as in the rest of France, opponents of the health pass meet this Saturday afternoon for a new day of demonstrations.
For this eighth mobilization weekend, two processions will set off in the capital of Gaul. The first brings together the “Coronafolie” and “Resistant Caregivers 69” collectives who denounce “the health dictatorship”. The demonstrators will leave at 2 p.m. from Place de la Croix-Rousse and will join the Charpennes district in Villeurbanne, passing through the 6th arrondissement.
The second procession will also leave at 2 p.m. but this time from the Courthouse of the 24 Columns. It will join rue Dunoir, near the Auditorium. This rally is at the call of extreme left groups and in particular the yellow vests.
As a reminder, a perimeter of prohibition to demonstrate has been set up around the prefecture, but also throughout the hypercentre of Terreaux in Bellecour via Vieux-Lyon. Rue Victor-Hugo and Place Carnot are also concerned.
