At the weekend International Aviation Days SIAF 2021, visitors will be able to see the aircraft not only during the flight, but also during taxiing, ie moving around the runway.

Opposite Sliač Airport, from which they had to move for reconstruction this year, the Kuchyňa / Malacky air base also offers more parking spaces and a larger spectator zone. TASR was informed about this by a member of the media team Andrej Brník.

The organizers are luring, for example, to the premiere of the German Army’s Airbus A400M transport aircraft in a static demonstration. “In addition, we will be able to please lovers of historic aircraft,” warned Brník, referring to the aircraft from World War II Hawker Hurricane. It also announces the introduction of the new generation L-39NG. The Italian acrobatic group FrecceTricolori will also perform at the airport.

As Brník explained, when compiling the program, data are first collected from the pilots, such as requests on when they can fly, what kind of petrol they need, and how long the preparation takes. “Not all aces can always follow each other, but the program should take the form of a sinusoid. Attractive flight demonstrations versus less attractive, “he sketched.

Visitors to the event should not forget the respirator or veil. You also need to think about the weather and get a headgear or an umbrella. A sofa bed or blanket can also increase comfort.

The organizers tried to ensure the greatest possible safety in terms of health. “The fact that it is in open space and in a huge area speaks in favor of our event. We tried to deploy the infrastructure and services throughout the area so as to minimize the possibility of people gathering, “he said.

SIAF will take place this year from 4 to 5 September. It will be attended by 13 countries around the world. More than 30 flight demonstrations and more than 40 static demonstrations on the ground are prepared.
