Profiliga is planning new protocols, according to which teams will be able to suspend the salary of an unvaccinated player during the treatment period. The AP agency informed about it.

Unvaccinated players should also have limited movement during external matches, all players will continue to be tested regularly for coronavirus.

Earlier in the summer, league officials estimated that nearly 90 percent of players would be fully vaccinated before training camps opened in a month. It is not yet clear how crossing the US-Canadian border will affect the season.
