The image is unpublished. It shows about sixty illegals heavily armed and gathered in the night, from theUnion of Fighters and 22-October, two movements which have long followed parallel paths.

We owe it to a promise made by these same groups in a laconic press release, made public on June 2 at the heart of the electoral campaign at the time: that of delivering at the end of the Territorials an analysis of the ballot which, since, has given the victory of the Femu list led by Gilles Simeoni, this time without the support of the other nationalist forces.

The joint declaration, read from behind a platform that recalls the press conferences of a not so distant past, was made this time without witnesses.

A text of five leaves signed by the currencies of the two movements, “A ragione hè a nostra forza” for October 22 and “To populu fattu bisognu to marchjà” characteristic of the Union of Combatants, as well as a video with a masked voice, reached the editorial staff of Corsica-Morning.

They deliver an uncompromising analysis of the June election, marked by the end of the Pè a Corsica alliance which twice brought the nationalist forces to territorial power in 2014 and then in 2017: “The management of this new assembly will be that of Gilles Simeoni.”

And making the observation of a blocked situation with Paris, they even announce the continuation of the “National Liberation Struggle “ by the FLNC, a struggle marked in 2014 and 2016 by the deposit of arms from the UC and the start of a demilitarization process by October 22: “To the French State, we are clearly saying that if its policy of contempt continues, we will definitively resume, with probably even more determination than in the past, the paths of the fighting night that we know so well.”

Territories, first reading

The text introduced by the quotes of two ministers of the Valls and Castex governments six years apart, Marylise Lebranchu and Jacqueline Gourault, thus returns to the results of the Territoriales by this observation: “Nearly 68% of the votes show that the ballot stamped ” nationalist ” no longer frightens the electorate … The record which was announced by the opposition as highly criticizable did not constitute the slightest obstacle to progress ideas born from the National Movement “.

He then takes stock of nationalist performances. “The electorate’s plebiscite for the President of the Executive”, in the first place. “His modern and ambitious vision, his recognized moral uprightness and his personal charisma make him an inescapable leader that the Right and the scoriae of the Clan could not shake”. the Cabin crew then who “faithful to its opening strategy, for its first solo participation, achieved an excellent first round”, then “faithful to its unifying philosophy, allows Corsica Libera to catch up in the second” ‘, noting in passing the political anchoring “still very strong” of the last. The judged result “remarkable” of Core in Fronte, who entered the Assembly by “the big door” thanks to a “unambiguous program on his independence and social convictions”.

The first reading of the ballot by the FLNC is thus clear: “The Corsicans want the nationalists in power … The independence movement represents 15% of Corsicans, the Left is atomized and the Right is on the ropes”.

Territorials, second and third readings

The two clandestine groups are indeed returning to the“hegemony chosen by Gilles Simeoni’s list” and that “suggests an undivided governance “. The 2017 coalition was built to last 10 years. She did not survive a second term. And the FLNC is now worried about the deep nature of the vote cast in June, of membership “sudden” to the “national cause” mayors and the electorate of municipalities hitherto held historically by “Republican or PRG clan votes”, but who nevertheless operated what he calls “180 ° turn towards ‘modern’ nationalism”.

The underground movement asks the question: “Who votes for what today in Corsica in a territorial election which is the most important marker of nationalist ideas?”. And even addresses a debate that fleetingly crossed the campaign, on the possible electoral victory of a form of “post-nationalism”: “We think for our part that we are facing the advent of a new Clan which has used all the resources of its predecessors to get elected. The sidelining of the separatists was one of the signals, according to the FLNC. Who pursues: “We believe that the LLN’s ambitions (national liberation struggle, editor’s note) are today thrown into the oblivion of history and that they have been sacrificed on the altar of the search for an exclusive electoral victory … With the sole ambition of being the faithful reflection of this so-called new Corsica, made up of clanists in search of landmarks and new arrivals seduced by the dialectic of peace of new elected officials “.

The warning to the state

The two clandestine movements draw the conclusion that they have sacrificed enough to the truce of the armed struggle, when “the elected officials of Corsica have gargled to have brought peace while the appeasement of recent years is exclusively due to the FLNC”, “the disappearance of the historical ambitions of the LLN accompanied by the disappearance of the Corsican people”. They note a form of democratic impasse in the relationship with Paris: “35%, then 57% then 68% will change nothing. Absolutely nothing. During the six years which have just passed, instead of taking into account the political evolution of Corsica by simply reading the electoral results, the State Frenchman displayed his blindness and his political deafness. “

The following is an explicit caveat: “Considering our discretion in the politico-military field as a sign of abandoning our values ​​has made (the) state and the newly elected officials commit a major political error. The FLNC is not intended to abandon the struggle even then. that none of the objectives for which it was created have been achieved “. It even sounds like a call to the troops, perhaps sleepy, and provides initial responses to criticisms that may emerge. The FLNC thus calls on “veterans of the struggle, who practice easy criticism of hiding”, to those “young and old alike, who “lightly” use the 4 letters of the FLNC … Their place is at our side “, to the recovery of the former militants of the struggle who became pacifists, to those finally “which will remind at leisure that we risk a return to repression with its share of misfortunes … As always for 50 years, it is we who risk prison. They can sleep peacefully”.

The struggle on Corsica land

After those addressed to the State, the warnings are ultimately insular, on even more ritualistic grounds of struggle. To the promoters, to the builders of “quick fortunes”, to housing builders for “the new Corsicans”, “we do not want their destructive rent economy and vector of settlement colonization”, thus recalls the text. On the trivialization of drug trafficking in the island, the links considered very worrying “ebetween the economic world, the political world, certain elements of the National Movement and the Corsican thug “, the message is even more pressing: “Our organizations will be lucid and vigilant about the possible abuses of this mafia system if it were to impact our militants. We would be able to react, as we have done in the past.”

The State knowing what to expect from now on, the FLNC is not more conciliatory with the policies on the island, especially with those of the territorial majority around Gilles Simeoni: “To our elected officials who think they are quietly seated in the comfort of an ‘overwhelming’ election we say that we expect from them a commitment and an attitude more in line with the sacrifices that have brought them to the place where they are”.

But, at the end of their show of force, it’s up to the new arrivals in Corsica, “yesterday, today and maybe tomorrow” that the illegals reserve the last salvo in their joint declaration: “This land is not yours. And more particularly to the French who think they are at home in Corsica. Our country is not yet yours. Your country will never be ours. A Francia Fora “.

Territorial, it is thus the appeasement of Corsican society that comes out the most dogged.
