The number of positives in the Banská Bystrica Region has increased significantly: Cases are reported by up to 9 districts – Revúca24

In Slovakia, 132 positive people were tested on Monday in the form of RT-PCR tests and 77 people tested positive by antigen tests. Yesterday, 6,779 RT-PCR examinations and 10,516 antigen assays were completed. Ministry of Health (MZ) SR informed about it on its website.

“The total number of people vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine is 2,393,402, and 17,227 people were vaccinated in the previous day. The second dose of the vaccine has already been given to 2,177,154 people, and 16,977 people have been vaccinated the past day. “ states the resort.

Up to 9 districts

According to the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, the most positively tested RT-PCR tests were in the Trenčín Region (32), followed by Bratislavský (24), Prešovský (23),
Banskobystricky (23), Košický (8), Nitriansky (8), Trnavský (7) and Žilinský (7). “Among them are 62 men and 70 women,” specified by the resort.

National Center for Health Information specified on its website that the districts of Veľký Krtíš (7), Banská Bystrica (5), Banská Štiavnica (3), Lučenec, Žarnovica (2 each), Brezno, Detva, Krupina and Zvolen (1 each) have new cases in the region.

Only the districts of Poltár, Revúca, Rimavská Sobota and Žiar nad Hronom have zero PCR positive.

The number of hospitalizations has increased

According to the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, 93 patients are hospitalized in hospitals, 66 of whom have confirmed the disease. “There are ten patients in the ICU and four people need the support of artificial lung ventilation,”

specified by the resort.

According to the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, the number of confirmed victims for the pulmonary form of COVID-19 did not increase. The total number of deaths “on Covid” is 12,548 and the total number of deaths “with Covid” is 2,457.
