I found it rather calm and the name of Didier is the only name of doctors of this type that I knew before the crisis“, confides the emblematic presenter. A great controversy. Since the start of the pandemic, Didier Raoult has been talked about a lot because he did not hesitate to give a clear opinion on the Covid-19 epidemic but also its management. Confident about a possible treatment to eradicate the virus, he had praised the merits of hydroxychloroquine and recently questioned the real effectiveness of vaccination against Covid-19. For Jean-Pierre Pernaut, we have to wonder where this controversy arose. “There was this famous hydroxychloroquine. I don’t know what it is but I know I got it at home, just in case, you never know“, he says first.”It was banned in France the day after the publication of a study. The Ministry of Health jumped on this study which disassembled the treatment and banned it“, he then specifies. According to him, the problem arose because the”government never rescinded its ban which was based on a bogus study. There was therefore a discomfort that was created in public opinion“, says the presenter before adding:”We must let the doctors work and treat us“, he concluded.

Didier Raoult: what does he think of the management of the epidemic?

Since the start of the pandemic, Didier Raoult has been omnipresent but he was finally sidelined and no longer interested in government directives.
