The General Prosecutor’s Office under the leadership of Maroš Žilinka has taken care of several surprises in recent hours. It has taken important decisions in highly monitored cases involving people of big names.

He is a former director of the Slovak Information Service Vladimír Pčolinský, expander of the financial group of Pent Jaroslav Haščák, but also the well-known businessman Zoroslav Kollár.

All those named were detained some time ago by the National Criminal Agency, even with the assistance of an armed commando. She subsequently accused them of serious crime and, with the consent of the courts, was placed in pre-trial detention.

However, based on the decision of the General Prosecutor’s Office, there was a major turning point in these cases.

Vladimír Pčolinský is at large and is no longer being prosecuted for corruption. Jaroslav Haščák, who is not facing charges of the crime of bribery and a particularly serious crime of money laundering, is also breathing better.

Entrepreneur Zoroslav Kollár also has one less act on his neck. They dropped the charge of bribery.
