Boženík changes his jersey. Feyenoord sent him to Germany – PRAVDA.sk

Slovak football representative Róbert Boženík will be a guest on the German second league team Fortuna Düsseldorf.

His parent club Feyenoord Rotterdam informed about it on Monday.

Boženík is currently part of the national team, which is preparing for the three-match of the MS 2022 qualification in Senec under the coaching of Štefan Tarkovič.

The Slovaks will humiliate against Slovenia (on Wednesday, September 1 at 8:45 pm in Ljubljana), Croatia (on Saturday, September 4 at 8:45 pm in Bratislava) and Cyprus (on Tuesday, September 7 at 8:45 pm in Bratislava).

In an interview with the Fortuny club website, Boženík said that hosting in Düsseldorf was a great opportunity for him.

“I’ve talked to coach Christian Preusser several times. He wants to play high pressing, which suits me. Fortuna is a big club, I’m looking forward to a strong second Bundesliga.

It will be a challenging season, several clubs want to fight for promotion. I believe that we will win as many victories as possible, “said the 21-year-old Slovak striker.

Boženík is a regular player of Feyenoord, whom he came to in January 2020 from MŠK Žilina. He played 21 matches in the highest Dutch competition and scored three goals.
