Eric Zemmour has not declared himself, but he is already talking about him. The polemicist, who made his comeback this weekend and could soon announce his candidacy for the presidential election, was targeted by government spokesman Gabriel Attal on Sunday.

“That’s not what I believe at all”, added Gabriel Attal on our antenna, explaining that he would not find himself “never in the speech of those who see everything in black”. “This crisis, on the contrary, showed us that the French were capable of having treasures of inventiveness, creativity and solidarity.”

“I do not have to give certificates of serious or not serious, dangerous or not dangerous candidacy, we are in a democracy”, however assured the government spokesperson. “Voters will decide whether a candidacy is serious or not.”

Also Sunday, on Forum Radio J, the Minister of Public Accounts Olivier Dussopt estimated that Eric Zemmour should leave the program in which he participates on CNews for “end the confusion”, judging that “either one is a journalist or one is a candidate”. The polemicist has already made an appointment with his faithful on the channel where he continues to officiate at the start of the school year.
