Soprano: the rapper’s rare confidences on the search for his son born under X

An injury that never leaves him … Married for fifteen years to Alexia, Soprano is the happy father of two daughters, Inaya and Luna, born in 2007 and 2012 and of a son, Lenny, born in 2009. When he was a teenager, the rapper had a son, whom he never knew, and this, to his great regret. Invited in the Portrait of the week of Seven to Eight on TF1, the star explained: “I was with a girl and we had a child at 16. But we were too young. She placed the child in the DDASS without notifying me. He was born under X (…) and as I did not recognize him, I am not considered his father. And it hurts me, because right now I don’t know if he’s alive, if he’s healthy. It is complicated.“As he thought of ending his life, Soprano added:”It was a very complicated time, luckily there was music, I was able to let go of everything inside so as not to do more stupid things.“

While he wrote songs on the subject, it was in April 2020 that the rapper confided in an interview with France TV Slash: “I blew a fuse. It can be heard in my texts. I was pissed off at her. Afterwards, over the years, I understood that she too was young, she was lost. She was afraid, there were so many things … I was already melancholy, it plunged me into depression. When you are the father of a family, when you cannot know who your son is, you cannot see him – even today, I do not know where he is. It was very, very, very difficult during that time.“Finally, Soprano added:”French law means that, if you are not on the documents, when a child is placed in the DASS or in a home, as long as he is not of age, he cannot be contacted. It’s up to the child to look after. It is a law for the protection of children, which I understand and which is normal.“

Soprano wishes to meet his eldest son

Yes the rapper has a wonderful career and has achieved his fans, it is difficult for him not to know his son. In November 2018, it is for the Parisian that he had assured: “Time can never pay me back, never bring it back to me. I lost eighteen years. I was lucky to get married, to have children. We continue, we try to be smiling. We hope that everything is better on the other side, hoping that one day, perhaps, links will bring us back.“
