He introduced it to the audience and the present guests on Saturday afternoon at the Karlovy Vary Municipal Theater. The film follows the cause of water pollution in the Japanese city of Minamata, which was caused by a local corporation and which was helped to reveal in 1971 by the American photographer W. Eugene Smith.
