This means that Microsoft will not want to provide after-sales service for any malfunctions that could occur on a machine that does not follow the recommendations.

Microsoft has also confirmed to The Verge site that the PCs in question will not necessarily be eligible for feature or security updates. In most cases, installing Windows 11 should therefore not pose any problems on these machines, but its durability is very uncertain.
