So this didn’t work out for him! Friday night was marked by the awarding of the prestigious Slovak of the Year award. And it was during its introduction that the chairman of the National Council, Boris Kollár, addressed the RTVS. However, when he accepted the offer, he apparently had no idea how the whole speech would turn out.

Slovak of the Year is a prestigious award that is given to exceptional women every year. These include women entrepreneurs, women from cultural, media and educational backgrounds. This year, the owner of Kompava, Želmíra Komorechová, received the title of Absolute Slovak of the Year. She received it live on RTVS.

The gala evening was opened by the President of the National Council, Boris Kollár. In his speech, he gave the words of gratitude and encouragement to the tender sex. “I’m sure you’ll agree with me when I say that every woman is exceptional and strong. Although they are often presented as a gentler sex, they can often do much more. “ he said right at the beginning of the speech.

On this occasion, Kollár also addressed one of the closest women who has around him: “I would like to publicly thank my beloved mother, to whom, if I may, I will present this award.” Although it might seem that Kollár’s speech turned out to be excellent, the opposite is true.
