Present on the Game of Talents set this Friday, August 27, Iris Mittenaere delivered a strong message about an illness from which one of her relatives suffers.
Instant emotion on the set of Game of Talents. This Friday, August 27, Jarry was in charge of this new program broadcast on TF1. Among the stars at the head of the two competing teams, we find Iris Mittenaere. And the former Miss France has chosen to make her team the champions of the Alzheimer Research Association. But why ? Faced with Jarry, she slipped a confidence about her family life: a member of her family suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. “It was important to me because, like many people, I have my grandmother who has Alzheimer’s disease and I hope it will help others.”
A shy confidence that says a lot about the love she has for her grandmother. Because it is not the first time that she evokes the fight of the latter with the disease. In September 2020, on Chérie FM, Iris Mittenaere spoke on the daily life of his grandparents. “My grandmother has Alzheimer’s disease and when my grandfather found out he bought a notebook and he wrote their whole love story on a notebook and had my grandmother complete with what she remembered and felt on each page of the notebook. Since then, every day, he reads their love story to her.” Touching.
Iris Mittenaere, committed to children’s rights
But this is not the only cause dear to him. In fact, in February 2021, Iris Mittenaere is committed to the association Vision du Monde, which tends to help the most vulnerable children. From beauty queen, the young woman has become ambassador of the organization, as it was announced in a press release released on February 18, 2021. Its objective? Defend the rights of children, and more specifically of young girls.
