Orange will have a new satellite service in cooperation with CANAL + | SatelitnáTV.sk – SatelitnaTV.sk

The original satellite service from Orange will definitely stop providing its services in the autumn. It will mainly offer current clients the transition to IPTV or OTT. However, the offer should also include a renewed satellite service in cooperation with CANAL +, ie the owner of the Skylink and freeSAT satellite services.

The original Orange TV satellite platform will therefore be replaced by a new service during the autumn. According to the operator, it should offer more TV stations and a new structure. An offer for migration will be prepared for existing Orange TV via satellite customers – whether for cable IPTV, if they are newly available, or for a new satellite service. The menu itself, the program grid and other details will be announced before its launch.

The significant expansion of the availability of our television services in recent years, combined with a business-strategic focus on services with higher added value, led us to the decision to switch to an alternative to the original satellite service. It will bring richer content and more functionalities for customers, and we will launch it on the market in cooperation with a new partner, the company Canal +“, Says Martin Hromkovič, director of B2C marketing and branding at Orange.
