Volkswagen also brought its sports-oriented crossover ID4 GTX to Slovakia.

Currently, it can be viewed by anyone interested, because it is displayed in the e-mobility store in Aupark in Bratislava, along with other electric cars and the necessary accessories, including various types of chargers.

The ID4 GTX is currently the top specification for Volkswagen’s electric crossover. It builds on the legacy of GTI combustion cars and brings it a whole new electrical dimension. As the letter in the name suggests, this is a novelty with all-wheel drive. No cardan shaft, but two different engines on two axles, pulling the saw every moment, or helping each other.

In cooperation, they can produce a maximum output of 220 kW and about 460 Nm of torque. This is already a solid tap for a massive electric car with batteries with a net capacity of 77 kWh. The result is acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.2 seconds and a maximum speed increased to 180 km / h.

The car has progressive steering, a sports chassis and tightens up to 1,200 kg of braked trailer, which is still an unusual number for electric cars. The car stands on 20-inch discs and in addition to increased performance, it also offers design improvements, including sports seats inside.

The ID4 GTX can travel 340 to 480 km on a single charge, depending on driving style. The price in Slovakia starts at the level of 53,180 euros.

The GTX equipment is the highest and is based on the Pro equipment. The basis is the IQ Light Matrix lights, the mentioned twentieth wheels, charging with a power of up to 125 kW, or the Discover Pro infotainment with a 10-inch touch screen. However, the last two elements already include lower equipment. ID4 has a price tag in the basic equipment with basic batteries with a capacity of 52 kWh (net) 36,450 euros.
