Rennes is invited to the Europa League Conference! – Debrief and NOTES of the players (Rosenborg 1-3 Rennes) – Maxifoot

Confirming their success in the first leg, Stade Rennais won serenely in Norway against Rosenborg (3-1) on Thursday for the return jump-off to validate their ticket to the Europa League Conference.

Man of the match: Romain Del Castillo (7/10)

Quickly author of the opening of the scoring, the attacking midfielder showed a lot of activity and was in all the good shots tonight. Even if he was more discreet in the second period, the image of his team, the Breton still comes out of his box and is penultimate passer on the last goal. He will have shone by the accuracy and inspiration of his choices.

The NOTES of Rennes

Alfred Gomis (5.5) : sanctioned with a severe penalty, the goalkeeper bows on it even though he started on the right side. Too bad because the Senegalese had until then a game full of confidence with in particular a good stop on the free kick of Vecchia.

Hamari Traor (5) : a generous match from the Rennes captain, whom we didn’t necessarily see a lot offensively but who made a very clean copy in the defensive field by closing his right lane well. Replace the 81st minute with Lorenz Assignon (not rated).
