Covid today Fvg, 36 infections: bulletin data and news August 26

There are 36 new coronavirus infections in Friuli Venezia Giulia according to data from today’s bulletin, August 26, 2021. There are no deaths in the last 24 hours. Since yesterday, 1,088 molecular swabs have been performed from which 26 new covid cases have been detected (including 8 migrants / asylum seekers: 5 in Trieste, 3 in Udine) with a positive percentage of 2.39%. There are also 2,516 rapid antigenic tests performed from which 10 cases (0.4%) were detected. The number of people hospitalized in intensive care has dropped to 10, while 30 are hospitalized in other departments. The deaths totaled 3,797, with the following territorial subdivision: 814 in Trieste, 2,016 in Udine, 674 in Pordenone and 293 in Gorizia. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 110,266 infections have been recorded, with the following territorial subdivision: 21,878 in Trieste, 51,413 in Udine, 22,124 in Pordenone, 13,333 in Gorizia and 1,518 from outside the region.
